October's Fall in love with Sake Meetup

Greetings Sake Friends,
Well fall is around the corner -- time to watch the leaves drift downwards in glistening hues of golden oranges and reds. It's my favourite time of year and if you are a sake lover, you know that fall means sake (brewed in winter) is at it's peak freshness.

I thought we could head outta Van and travel to deepest darkest Richmond to try some of the burgeoning Japanese fare that's cropping up. Seto Sushi is one such place--it's fairly traditional--no trendy izakaya tapas here--just fresh sushi and great noodles (flown in fresh from Japan), and most importantly the sake list is impressive. Lots!! Unfortunately they do not have a sake sampler, but with such a varied list, we will be able to find some decent stuff without breaking the bank. Every Japanese food establishment in the Lower Mainland should aspire to have as great a sake list as Seto's.

I'm giving lots of notice as I'm heading out of town for an extended time--so pencil me in--there's no excuse! ;) But please RSVP so I know to make proper reservations.
